The design of the Mate 30 is the same as its previous ones
Not of these changes is the incorporation of its four rear cameras into a circular module while the Mate 20 Pro incorporated its three cameras into a square module.
Its body is finished in glass and its OLED screen is 6.53 inches with an 88 percent curvature and Full HD + resolution. In addition, the phone integrates virtual controls within the screen for some actions such as increasing the volume.
The screen viewing experience is very good despite the low resolution compared to the Mate 20 Pro where we found a QHD + resolution. The Mate 30 Pro offers Full HD + but with levels of brightness and sharpness at the height of a flagship phone.
At the top of the screen has a small drop-shaped notch that contains the dual front camera and the infrared sensor for facial recognition. On the back of the phone is the LED flash located on the left side and its quad rear camera located in the upper central part within the circular frame.
There is no trace of the fingerprint sensor because like the Mate 30 Pro and P30 Pro it is on the screen. About the performance of this sensor I will talk later but as an advance I will say that it has improved considerably compared to the Mate 20 Pro that was quite slow and erratic.
